The perfect place for:

A fun and dynamic central trail system that offers everything from easy to our most difficult trails.  The Pakkotinna Trails are a mix of bush trail and abandoned railbed with lakes, hills and lookouts to enjoy.  It’s history is the Old Bonnechere to Pembroke Road.

The Pakkotinna Trail System is home to the annual B101 or Bust! 3-day event usually held in the second week of June. 

The best thing about this trail:

  • The roads around the Pakkotinna are all ATV friendly making it a great place to stay and ride to the trail. 
  • Forested trails, lake views, and two great lookouts make this trail a favourite
  • It offers routes and loops for the beginning to the most experienced riders

Trail Length: 104 km
Trailhead
• Opposite Sands on Golden lake resort on highway 60
• Warm-up shack 7935 Round Lake Rd 

Trail Conditions

Technicality:
all 4 green, blue, red, black . (Click Here to View the Technicality Rating Chart)
Trail Conditions:
• While the interior trails are crown land, access points to the Pakkotinna trail are mostly via private property and therefore require a trail pass. 
• Combination of forested trails and old railbed
• the green and blue trails are SXS Friendly the red trails should be for experienced ATV/SXS riders and black not recommended for SXS due to water and significant boulders
• Note: 
trails skirt bodies of water which are impacted by beaver activity and could cause fluctuations in water levels.

Gas:
• There is no fuel on trail, fill up in Golden Lake / Pikwakanagan and Killaloe / Barrys Bay.

• available on the 101 at highway 60

• Available in Pikwakanagan / Golden Lake on the 108: Kokomish Cafe and the Cottage Cup
